Top 3 marketing tips for your small business

We’ve all been there: that feeling of being stuck, like a hamster on a wheel, running relentlessly yet going nowhere. Whether you’re bogged down by routine, facing a creative block, or just feeling unmotivated, being in a rut sucks. Here are some tips to get yourself out of it

  1. Acknowledge it- say it out loud. Admit to yourself that this is how you feel.

  2. Know why you feel this way- we cover this in our journal but it is so important to know the cause of this otherwise you won’t be able to overcome that “rut” feeling.

  3. Look after yourself- get enough sleep, eat nutritious food, exercise or seek a professional to talk to

  4. Journal- journaling allows me to get all my thoughts into the open and start processing them. Especially if you are like me and find it difficult to talk to people about your feelings. Our mindset journal allows for free writing, guided prompts to get you thinking and also an action plan to get you out of your rut.

  5. Get outside into nature- Fresh air and beautiful scenery always helps me to recognise all the beauty in the world and realise just how small we are in comparison to the world and nature.

  6. Set some goals- Often we feel in a rut because we are stuck doing things we aren’t passionate about. Set some goals and keep moving towards them. We have a goals journal that breaks down this whole process for you and a planner and tracker to hold you accountable. 

  7. Be patient- nothing lasts forever and this won’t either. Keep going and put one foot in front of the other because if you keep going with your goals and life, things will turn around for you.
