My journey before founding About Your Marketing has been anything but conventional.
I specialised in acquiring struggling businesses across diverse sectors, including fashion, baby decor, baby clothing, dress hire, and cosmetics. With my e-commerce business, Amaia Lashes, turning over $1 million within its first 12 months of launching.
Through hands-on experience I honed my skills in increasing profit, revenue, ultimately selling each business for more than I had bought it for.
Now, I leverage this expertise to assist you in growing your own business.
After working with six different Australian marketing agencies without success, I finally found an incredible agency in the US, led by Nick Shackelford- a marketer who had run Facebook ads for Apple. While their expertise was unparalleled, the challenges of times zones and exchange rates made it difficult to sustain long term.
Determined to take control, I asked Nick to mentor me in running my own Facebook ads. I also had the privilege of working one-on-one with Pepjin Hufen, CMO of Smart Marketer, led by industry icons Molly Pittman and Ezra Firestone, to refine my skills even further.
I applied these learnings to my own business with remarkable success.
